Sandvik to Support Ongoing Gas Field Developments in the Region, Establishes Regional HQ in Dubai

Sandvik has been reconfirmed as a member of the prestigious FTSE4Good Index Series, which measures the environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance of companies worldwide. Sandvik has also been included in the world-renowned RobecoSAM Sustainability Yearbook for the eigth consecutive year.

An expectant audience from Göranssonska School, Sandvik and the local newspaper met at Folkets Hus in Sandviken on the last proper school day before the Christmas holiday. First-year pupils from Göranssonska School held a presentation about the Warship Vasa. The presentation marked the conclusion of a unique project between the pupils, Sandvik and the Vasa Museum during the autumn term. Over the course of the morning, the audience learned more about a range of topics, such as why Vasa sank, work to preserve it, and materials and sustainability issues.
