Alleima announces CFO retirement and succession

Chief Financial Officer Olof Bengtsson has informed the company that he will retire from his position as of August 31, 2025. Johan Eriksson, currently Head of Group Business Control at Alleima, will succeed Olof Bengtsson as Chief Financial Officer as of September 1, 2025.

Alleima appoints Per Eklund as President for Strip division

Per Eklund, currently Vice President and Head of Marketing and Sales for the Alleima Strip division, has been appointed President for the Strip division and member of the Group Executive Management for Alleima. He has led the Strip division as Acting President since December 13, 2024, and will start the new position on March 1, 2025.

New collaboration between Alleima and Vasa Museum provides the historic Vasa ship with a steel skeleton

The special steel company Alleima plays a key role as the Vasa Museum faces its biggest challenge since the salvage. With the wood weakened, the ship needs a new support. Several years of research and advanced testing at the museum have led to a unique collaboration with Alleima to develop an internal, custom-made steel skeleton to support and stabilize the ship. The collaboration entails that Alleima becomes the main partner of the Vasa Museum and the "Support Vasa" project.
